Trippaul Threat (PdN x BMJ) Community Grow

This is a dedicated grow log for Tristen's awesome cross, which I
have been growing out since 2014.  I'll start with a bit of history and
some photos documenting what's happened so far.

In January of 2014, Tristen (Trippa) sent me a little care package of seeds.
In the package were two generations of a cross he had made, which he just
called 'Mystery Cross, F1' and 'Mystery Cross, F2'.

Here's Trippa's Mystery Cross seedlings in February of 2014:

Both generations showing the purple foliage characteristic since the beginning.

Up close look at Trippa's Mystery Crosses, F1 and F2.  Both culled to a single
plant after the photo taken, so I only had one plant of each generation:

Photo bombing Aji Amarillo.

Another nice pod from the F7 violet variant.
Looks like I may even get a few more, weather
permitting.

Hopefully I can add to these pictures soon Paul. I have a bunch down to germinate. Thanks for keeping our variety going over the years. I can't wait to see what transpires. I may even see if I can spread some around other New Zealand growers after this season. Fingers crossed I get some pods!!

Awesome, Trissten! Great to see you on the forum, my friend.

It has been a crazy couple of years here. We are visiting Spain
for a couple of months at the moment so I don’t have much going
this season. I plan on growing xome Trippaul Threat next season
for sure, Good luck with your grow this season, looking forward
to some great results from New Zealand!

That would be awesome, Tristen! I need some encouragement
over the dark and dank winter months!

A couple of my current lot both F8 generation plants ... Not the best photos ... They were transplanted from the aeroponics unit to soil a few weeks back ... Just starting to bounce back and beginning to thrive.
Soil is a home grown concoction based on the fact all store bought in NZ seems to be far too heavy for my liking, lots of fine pumice in addition to a heavy compost, a lighter store bought organic potting soil and seaweed, blood and bone and sulphate of potash.

Beautiful coloring on that foliage.

Alright, Tristen! Those should be awesome
plants in the New Zealand sun! Good on ya,
mate!
