Hey everyone! I have successfully created my first ever sauce. I call it "Tropic Ghost Massacre".
to all who are interested, here is the recipe:
3 medium-large carrots.
about twenty-ounces pineapple.
about 1 tablespoon apple cider vinegar
Juice of 2 oranges.
1 large ripe Bhut Jolokia, use seeds and placenta.
a tad bit of lime juice.
2 tablespoons brown sugar.
Optional: Cilantro.
slice carrots into small chunks
dice pineapple into small cubes
dice cilantro leaves
put all into blender with juice of 2 oranges, pineapple, apple cider vinegar.
slice whole pepper into small pieces.
place whole blend into saucepan, and simmer on low.
add Bhut and stir in brown sugar.
Let simmer on low, stirring occasionally until consistency of choice.
And we have a sweet fruity tropic sauce, with the beating heat of bhut! PS: It has a really nice even burn.
