Various forms of trinidad douglah pod in a plant, is this normal?

Hello everyone,
this is the first time I planted T.douglah, I encountered various forms of pods in a plant. Is this normal for douglah?
seed sources: SEMILLAS

All of this pods came from the same plant

Yes, its normal. I don't think I've seen two Douglah pods that look the same. Pods also seem to get gnarlier as the temp goes up. My greenhouse douglas are always gnarlier and hotter then my outdoor douglahs

I have NEVER had a freakin stinger on a doogy thats awesome!



Heres a pic from a four year plant. One of the most "pure" seed around in my opinion.
The shape changes and sometimes the pods get pimply.

thanks Potawie, apparently thats normal.
When i saw the pods, i thought my douglah not pure.
Is there a correlation betwen pod shaped and pungency?
if i saved the seed from the stingered pod, and grow it again, would it produce stingered pod too?

Its always good practice to save seeds from most desirable pods/plants but to be honest all pods are still genetically the same. The douglah shape/appearance also seems to be caused by environmental factors.
Usually the bumpy pods are more stressed and therefor hotter

To answer your will it grow stingered pods. GROW THE SEED AND FIND OUT!

Okay Bee, i will post the picture again when its ripe. but the seed won't go anywhere .
Unless i have more stingered pods. (i can't grow to many plant anyway, i only grow chili on balcony )
