I went with JayT on this one. My wife is Vietnamese, and Bahn mi with pho is like a comfort food to me...aside from New Mexican, of course. I also really love pork belly. Great job everyone on their amazing dishes, it was a tough choice!

I went with D3, that soup was probably my favorite thing in this whole contest.  I have seen and (loved from a far) his cheesesteaks, but that soup speaks to me.  Honorable mention to GM's Pepperpot, SL' onion soup, JayT's Pho and Bahn Mi, I love pork belly, but learn to take some pics bro!  JHP's perfectly fried fish, and GIP's Hatch green chile soup.  I have the chile Gustapo looking into whether they are authenic Hatch or imposters not from NM!

I went with Hot Stuff's Pozole and Drunken Torta because why the hell not. Woke up that morning to vote and saw that drunkin Torta and said to myself "neat". Who here has not had Pozole just wandering? I bet menudo haters might like Pozole.

I went with JayT. That marrow pho and sticky pork bahn mi looked amazing.

Wanted to give props to sobelri too who showed great techniques in his pho and bahn mi combo.

This!   "3 star anise, 2 sticks cinnamon, and  3 Tbs whole cloves black pepper" is why Jay didn't get my vote. Is this common in Pho? Reading this caused me to have a flashback of that Malaysian Curry. Maybe, I'm just not ready for this type of food.

Of course, that means it's not about whether one entry is better than another or not ...
 
And that's why TD's aren't going to be a reliably good experience for me ...
 
That said, I'm not interested in ruining other people's good time ... so I'm going to go back to not entering them.
