Little update- all peppers in the ground except a handful of pubes that are going in today. So far peppers have seen temps of 34°F- 84°F, hail , 50mph winds and they are still doing great.

I have a bunch of different varieties of shiitake mushroom growing, some are really cool looking-

you can see the contraption I built for my pubescens row. they like to get squirrley so I thought it would help hold them up and give them a little shade.

Plants look much better than mine, about 40 of mine got brutalized with all the wings over last few days but they will just be stronger once tropical stuff kicks into gear.

Digging the mushrooms, love me some fungi!

thanks man, when it started to hail the other night I freaked out a little no lie- only lasted a couple of minutes luckily. few holes in leaves but no worries other then that.

More random shots-

something else to help me keep deer out- Solar powered motion light- thing is crazy bright and works well so far

CAP 521- C.Frutescens awesome plants so far

A more purple maui purple that went into the garden-

So far are the key words, once deer get used to it and understand it will only cut on and off...then they move in

Think of it like trail cameras without the new blackout flash

Beautifully kept garden almost "Chelsea Show" like .. so neat and weed free ... What a burger shot drooling here in the UK ... going to have to watch another episode of " Diners, Drive-ins and Dives" ... oh I wish I lived in the States!

thanks for the love folks. But this isn't my first rodeo...

the lights are not there to scare the deer. I can see the garden from my bedroom, the lights are to alert me that the damn deer are out there so I can come running out all urban redneck style and whoop some bambi ass :cheers:

I was thinking - I'd have removed the screen from the window and would take the shot from the bedroom. No sense walking downstairs and waking up fully, unless there's 50x dinners laying on the ground ...

Beautiful garden setup Guy! I'd guess the neighbors would be upset if you shot the deer in your garden eh? The Manzanos I've grown have all had a spreading habit, is that why you made a cage for your pubes?

Hey Rick thanks for stopping by. If it's legal, screw em

and yes the cage is because the pubescens like to grow every which way but loose..haha Idea is they grow up through the wire and it will really help support the branches when they are weighed down with fruit. I'm guessing it's going to be like a giant pube jungle in there... hopefully
