seeds What are common peppers that germinate super quickly (under 6 days)

looking to test out some different types of fertilizers, I need peppers that will germinate quicly. Any suggestions?

under the right conditions alot of peppers will...i had butch t's and bhut pop in 4 days! just saying!! my habs germed fast (orange and red) not so much with the chocolate variety

so far I have got my serranos to do it in 6 days, but I need something faster than that, my habaneros havn't come up yet, its been 7 days so habs arn't going to be an option. any other ideas though?

Pequin, tepin, serranos, super chile, and (surprisingly) chocolate bhuts were the quickest for me this year. 6 days is about the earliest I get any peppers to sprout though. I had eggplants and tomatillos sprout in 3 days though. They sprout and grow faster, have you considered using a different solanaceae?

Habaneros, cayennes, and Fresnos were my quickest for germination.

My Fresno's were like snails in the sprouting race. I think it might have been because they were at the end of the heat mat though. I noticed the two rows at either end sprouted slowest.

Given the right conditions, and fresh seeds, they should pop quickly. When I germinate myself, the ones that DO germinate, I have yet to have ANY pepper take any longer than 8 days.
Besides, if you're fertilizing seedlings, you're doing it waaaaaaayyyyyyyyy wrong. I don't fertilize until at LEAST their 3rd to 4th sets. If you do fertilize any sooner, you will most likely fert-burn them, and kill them. Just sayin'

im not fertilizing seeds, im gunna start fertilizing after a week of them standing straight with 2 leaves

Quickest I have had (but it was a freak) was 3 days including a 20hr soak. Which was an Aji Lemon.(Aji lemon is one of my most consistant fast starter) Super Chilli's have also been quick in my experience.

Goats weed for me always pops from its shell in less than 36 hours.

Ditto. Three days for me on Goat's Weed.

But honestly, with good conditions, as others have mentioned, just about any 'fresh' seed can pop in 3-5 days. I think I'd just settle on one variety and roll forward with the test. Six days isn't a long time for peppers, FWIW.

Worst I've ever had must have been Chocolate Habanero. Guess it was due to old seeds from the company I bought them from!

Hard to say what's the fastest, depends on so many factors.

I think they are just super slow growing. It's the slowest growing variety I've ever grown, lol.
