I always wondered how he got away with saying the f word in this vid on mtv in the 80's
 
at :51 I swear he says "I miss my phukking friends"
 
Used to argue with a friend who said he was saying "I miss my funky friends"
 
I think he knew he had them thrown off with the accent and said it for kicks to see if they caught it.
