food What Is Your Signature Dish!?

For me it's more like ...

Yay, pork ...

Ugh, venison ...

Yay sliders ...

Ugh, seafood ...

Yay pork again ...

(Anxious about impending venison ...)

Ugh, venison ...

(Darkness sets in ...)

Ugh, veggie? WTF!

(Running on cortisol now ...)

Awe Yissss - steak!

Ugh, venison ...

(Sad trombone...)

I was open to the universe for a while ... had fish, then lobster, then duck ..

But then that lamb shut me down a little bit ...

I tried to get back on the horse via ceviche ...

But that gamey next-day reheated lamb ... ffuuu ... I can imagine smelling it now, like it was yesterday ...

Even dark meat turkey from quality birds seems gamey since the lamb ...

Venison seems too risky right now, LOL ...

CABRITO!   When properly done, it's delicious!  We ate it many times at an outdoor restaurant in La Paz, MX.  I tried to cook one.......:nope:  ...not the same....

SL, your signature dish is one you couldn't pull off? I think you read it wrong lol. What is your signature dish, not your favorite.

I can't say I really have a signature dish. (So why am I posting here at all???? ) Peeps who really know me (no one here) will tell you that they never know what I'm going to come up with and, for that matter, nor do I. Sure, there's the "you gotta eat" type of food, but the really memorable food is never the same. I just like experimenting and seeing what I can come up with.

So why am I posting here? 'Cause there are some really awesome pictures posted here! Lamb, fish, even soup - it all looks incredible!
