What will you be growing next season?

Now that the season is almost over I'm sure many if not all of you are already thinking about what to grow in the 2019 season.
Here's my list (subject to change several times :) )
The only problem is that I only have room for about 8 plants so I'm facing a hard time choosing which varieties will make it in the final list. This list is already a reduction of an original list of about 25 varieties...

Habanada (James Duffy)
Yellow Pequin (James Duffy)
Orange Pepperoncini (James Duffy)
Piment De Bresse (Sainte Marthe)
Petit Marseillais (Sainte Marthe)
Sucette De Provence (Sainte Marthe)
Jeromin (pimenton de la vera)
Sili-a-top (THSC)
Rocoto Pineapple (Pepperitalia)
B.O.C. (Bjarne’s frø og planter)
Trinidad Purple Viper (Bjarne’s frø og planter)
Pebre De Cirereta (Especias Crespi)

And then there are still a couple of varieties in the European seed train that I'm interested in growing:
7pod Burgundi
Sugar Rush Red

Now let me know what's on your list! :)

Not overwintering much, trying new ones.

BBG pumkin
Aribibi guisano
2 phenos of the peppers that my buddy has been open pollen growing harvesting and re-planting for the last 10yrs.
Red rocoto, already have them growing

Overwinters:
My most productive reaper
Most productive red bhut
Most productive chocolate superhot

Should be plenty for just me.

1. Chocolate Brainstrain (Bhuter)
2. Random Superhot (Voodoo 9)
3. Aji Pineapple (Genetix)
4. Aji White Lightning Bolt (RickVM)
5. Bishops Crown (Bhuter)
6. Aji Lemon Drop (RickVM)

I wish I could overwinter the good plants but usually when I take them inside the aphids start to appear...

The white lightning bolt is one that I would love to give a try :)

Bunch of different bonnets as usual.
My own crosses
I always try to plan but never stick to it come soak time

Actually my first plan for next seasons growth was to concentrate on French heirloom varieties. But then the harvest pictures start to appear all over the place and some good looking varieties show up and an irresistible urge to buy new seeds forces you to forget about those initial plans...   :hell:

I'm going Rocoto-heavy next season. I'd like to clone a small army of Turbo Pubes and Aji Oros, to plant in a no-till section of the 8th acre.

I always do Anaheims, likely sticking to Big Jims like I did this last season. They fruited like bananas, and have the best hint of heat I've tasted in any of the Anaheim varieties. Other Anuums will be chosen at the appropriate time. The Moruga Welder opened my stuffing pepper world with Antep Aci Dolma and Antake, they'll be taking the place of the obligatory Bell...

I overwinter Aji Amarillos and Aji Mangos and have added about 10 Rocoto varieties as an overwinter experiment. After the initial shock where my Rocotos lost all their leaves, they are all coming back gangbusters...

I did have an initial infestation of aphids on one Aji Oro right after I brought it in, but after a quick treatment with Pyrethrins I haven't seen a bug one....

I recently got to know about the antep aci dolma and (of course) acquired seeds of it. I'm not certain if I'll be growing it though.

I've got pyrethrins too but I don't want to use it as long as there are fruits on the plants. And I have found that after a while the aphids reappear. They seem to show up out of nothing...

This year I grew a spanish heirloom called jeromin. This turned out to be a very good variety and will definitely grow it again.

Overwinter:
P. Dreadie
Black Prince Cross
Chocolate bhut bonchi
A couple unknowns that I think may be chocolate bbg
5ish unknowns that I'm gonna throw in one fairly small container
"fooled you" jalapeño

New:
Bishop's crown
"bird pepper" I got from the bahamas
Manzano from Mexican market pods
I'm going to try to get some numex trick-or-treat and habanada as well

This is my first year growing a variety of different peppers:

Peach Habanero
Jalapeno
Banana
Thai Chili
Shishito

Pablano
Corno Di Toro Giallo
King of the North
Lipstick
Aribibi Gusano or Caterpillar chilli
Brazilian Starfish
Lemon Drop
Aji Charapita

And whatever else I end up picking up before I start planing seeds. I plan on joining the growdown competition next year too so there will probably be another variety.

Also will be growing some Cucumbers, Tomatoes and Green Onions.

Bolsa de Dulce
Aji Jobito
Aji Oro

From Refining Fire Chiles
Jay's Peach Ghost Scorpion

I try to overwinter a black naga, and have totally changed my whole list this year. The only ones a grew last season and will grow this season again is black naga and bhut jolokia.

The new ones are

Kraken scorpion
Black habanero
Scotch bonnet
Scotch bonnet chocolate
Orange tiger taj mahal
Habanero burning bush
Habanero hot lemon
Trinidad doughlah
Maldivian habanero
B. O. C
Bhut jolokia peach
Naglah brown
Red monzano rocoto

That's the only ones i decided to grow this far, looking for seeds to a rocoto named pico mucho, but havnt found them yet, so that will probably be next years headache.

Well, I was going to have two kinds of habanero, aji lemon drops, and alma paprika... but I'm pretty sure I cooked my seeds trying to get them to germinate. So I guess we'll see if any of them sprout.

So far I will be growing these, but I'm sure my list will get longer.

Onza
Aji Limo Rojo
Traveler Jalapeno, or some kind of Jalapeno
Criolla De Cocina
Numex Heritage 6-4/Big Jim
Numex Sandia Select
Costeno Amarillo
McMahn's Texas Bird Pepper
Peruvian Red Rocoto

Aji Dulce
Oranjevoye chudo
Aji Amarillo
Corno Di Toro Giallo

Some kind of Thai pepper
Jimmy Nardello

Expecting these seeds to arrive soon:
Nagabrain Chocolate
Scotch Brain
Cornish Naga
Pink Tiger
Jamaican Scotch Bonnet TFM

Planning to get these also:
-White or Yellow 7 pod
-Bahamian Goat
-a no heat habanero
-a Habanero (any suggestions?)
-some mild to no heat peppers too

In the meantime I am trying not to add to much, as I don't have a very big garden...

Any suggestions on a Rocoto thats productive in a colder climate, possibly a mild one?
And a good Scotch Bonnet to add to the Jamaican TFM one??

My grow list has evolved to these (in random order) :

Jamaican Hot Chocolate

Aji Ayuyo
B.Y.C.

Habanada
Trinidad Purple Viper
B.O.C.

Jeromin
PdN x BMJ F7

One I will be growing, thanks to you Marc, is Jeromin.

Probably Kurtovska Kapija since I havent grown it for a couple of years.

My workhorse favorites: Poblano for rellenos and a large mild Jalapeño for pickling.

Ashe County Pimiento and Crunch Sweet Orange for salads.

A Korean Pepper if I keep making kimchi.
