There was for me in the annual church Youth Group Chili Cook Off this year. I didn't get first place something with no fire at all did but I did come away with this:

and to me that was Sooooooooooo much better. Has any body else come away with something that you considered better than winning? Show us what you've got.
 
Spirit of Joy's Youth need to get their shit together.

"Spiciest Pot" should equate "Best Pot".

It's a bridesmaid award. I'll bet everyone got an award, that's how youth group competitions roll.

"Most Beans"
"Meatiest Pot"
"Healthiest Pot"
"Most Likely To Produce Gas"
"Most Leftovers" (which means Worst Chili)

Rocketman, you were hosed. You better speak to the Youth Director and develop some sort of Rubric for what makes chili awesome. Spiciness is the first order of business.
I'm expecting big things from you, and anything short of a Blue Ribbon next year is unsatisfactory!!!
