Why I Hate IPAs

Lagunitas is probably my least fave beer lol. The ones I've had. IPA and Little Sumpin' Sumpin'.
Try Imperial Stout, Cappuccino Stout, Night Time Ale, The Hairy Eyeball or Hop Stoopid Ale. All great in my opinion.

Folks JUST DONT GET IT!
Try one and slam them all . . . . . .(wtf?)
Hate to bust your fragile bubbles folks but Obama can not educate you on quality/good drinking beer(s)
If $9-$12 a six spooks you then you need to man the F-UP and drop a few coin and experience beer that isnt on an NFL/Na$car commercial.
NO CLEAR BOTTLES
NO TWISTY TOPS
NOTHING UNDER 5.0%AVB

Keep drinking that piss in your content little micro worlds

Beer drinkers? . . . . . . . . .. yeah right . . . . . . .

$8 per 22 oz. bottle is standard fare for good beer. As Stone Brewing says, "It's not too expensive, you're too cheap!"

My world is full of those big dranks of beer,I have over 300 bottles of various brews aging
Some on their 3,4th year and others on the other side of 5 yrs
$12 for a 4 pack is pretty average, scored 6 bottles of DogFish 120 IPA last week and picking up 12 ea of the DFH-120 IPA
and the ultra rare DFH- 61 Minute IPA this week end

Word is they are firing up the brew pots this weekend  for a big holiday run :shh: ,gonna be making several gallons of "Apple Pie"
Very Soon ;)

Tis the season to be hoppy. Never fear, IPA is here!  :drooling:

7.2 ABV and 82 IBU. Almost the double range and it tastes it. BeerAdvocate. RateBeer.

That's not true, the craft ale house I frequent has 20 taps, and only one or two are IPA. They change weekly and have all kinds of lagers, kolschs, sours, session beers, pilsners, steam beers, porters, stouts, whatever. It's different every week but I've never seen more than two IPAs, sometimes only one.

Exactly. We have a couple breweries and a couple craft ale houses in town as well. They all serve a wide range delicious brews, and from looking around at different tables I always see a ton of variety getting consumed. The breweries usually sell out of the seasonals and house ales before the IPAs as well.

Me, I like them all if they're flavourful and well-brewed. Beer is delicious.

I enjoy Dogfish Head 60min, 90min and 120min IPA's and a few others I like hoppy beers in the cooler months and ales in the Summer

This. Season and weather will definitely influence my choice greatly. Like say I go for a weekend camping and beaching it up - I'll grab a 24 of something light and watery that I can drink at near-freezing all day and have something with a little more flavour for the night around the fire. In the winter I like stouts and IPAs and maybe etc etc.

Even those silly fruit beers have their place (my girl says hey taste this it's awesome! so I do, and then I pass her glass back.)

Nope, they stopped making it in '07, until this year that is...
Yes that part is true, some of the bottles I bought were not produced the year I bought them like WWS. I'll need to check but I feel like I already did and there is no bottle.

Is it really? Or does the idea of aging a beer for a few years make it taste that much better?

I will never know...

many beers over 10% age very well and 120 is one of the one recommended to let age. I have my daily go to stash and things that sit and get better.

Yeah I have heard/read plenty about it, and I do love good beer. I'm just not interested in reaching that level of beer snobbery (no offense). I'm quite happy with the countless good beers at my disposal.

Nothing beer snob about it,you can still be a righteous beer slut and age a few beers
