I would love everyone to post plates of food from something they caught or killed hunting.
 
 
First up....ugly plate but a southern classic, fried venison and onions...I like to put pepper powder in the breading.

Public, and you can't shoot elk except for with lottery tags in a couple isolated areas that are VERY hard to come by.

Elk is my favorite game meat.  My dad has gotten four of them in CO.

Yeah, same almost everywhere...lottery. I am still waiting to run across a Sika deer in DE.

Yeah I bought this fancy smoked bluefish salad once, it had mayo, mandarin oranges, can't remember but yeah... ummm heh. Put me off that fish. LOL.

Venison loin grilled just the way I like it, salt and pepper with black beans I made using the bones from the country ham I cooked and topped with garlic chives from the garden...

Thanks Grant, most people cook venison to death but it is so good if you treat it like a high end steak.

Chris, did you cook that on your Weber?  Pretty sure I have one loin left, and that might be the way to break in my Weber.
