Very nice OW specimen, CD. Very productive plant
in my grow 2020. Got large in a 3-gallon nursery pot.

I like your idea of growing out more, but smaller plants
to get things going. What would you say are the dimen-
sions of this plant?

The Capucinno Chiltepin turned out to have orange
berries. Volunteer plant, so not surprising, I guess.
Lots of berries on the plant, too big for greenhouse.
The plant fills this pic's frame although hard to see
against the background.

A bit closer look. Berries starting to ripen
at a faster pace.

This Glabriusculum is from the Sonoran Desert area,
according to Semillas la Palma.

Wild Cumari annuum, @leo 72, second year OW.
I have already taken two decent berry harvest of
this plant so far this summer. Looks like we are
ready for the last hurrah. Only a handfulof green
berries on the plant.

It's 20" by 20" at it's biggest reaches. The N1's have little depth to them, which seems to help some peppers get a little bigger versus the shallower small pots.

Sweet! Pumpkin Spice Cappuccino Chiltepin. You heard it here first! ;)

I grew that one with seeds Leo sent me and, like yours, it was an aggressive producer. Odd though, as vigorous as it was it simply died with no warning during it's second OW.

Thanks for the heads up, CD. I'll have to keep a close eye on it.

@PaulG , got your seeds today! That Uvalde Giant Pequin is tasty!! The heat profile and texture vs. the typical brittleskin Uvalde was noteworthy too.. Were they a bit meatier? They certainly have more flavor. I didn't find them as hot as the original, but it was a different heat too, more up front and persistent.

The purple one seems hotter than the original, but I'll have to compare more.. Appreciate you sharing them with me.
Were they both deciduous berried? I missed it if you mentioned that detail.

The purple more easily pulled off the calyx.
The green took a slight 'bend and tug'. I
agree with your assessment off the green
berries. If you would like some dried berries,
let me know.

I think I must have missed the heart on the first pass of those greens, my second savor was insanely hot.. Those have some durability! Even got someone mad at me. Something about never asking them to eat 'plain dry flakes' again.

I really ruined my fruit set for this season, trying to isolate mine. I think I might have produced more clones than I did fruit on that one. I wonder how one of those would ship this time of year.
You planning to OW and keep that green one?

The green is in a #10 NC, so probably won’t OW
that one, but the purple may be a candidate. Will
have to see how things play out this Fall.
