Winter Grow in a spare bedroom

Cheers ALL!

I started this a few weeks ago. I have 4 over winter plants. Reaper, Chocolate Moruga, Cappuccino Scotch Bonnet and the fourth lol I forgot. Either not chocolate primo or PurpleghostScorpion.

Seed layout has 6 or 7 herb varieties... I currently have a few germination activity. Reaper, Lemon Drop, cilantro and chocolate Moruga... Thanks for looking.

Saw the plastic thing laying around in another room with some old nail polish... wiped it down and made it an incubation draw lol.
About the Kratky ones and their roots... Yes they have significantly grown... I'm excited... looking at them from the top is like looking at your kids, you can never notice the growth lol

Thanks for tagging along Cane!

Hey Bookers.  Really like your round two setup and the totes.  Looking forward to seeing those take off.

FWIW, I don't see any indication of disease on your OW's and I'm not thinking of a deficiency in the nutrients present either.

Things I'd be considering are environmentals, especially in the root zone and lighting, and residual stress from the change in environment from outside to inside and/or the ratio of root pruning to foliage pruning - though frankly I don't see anything here that alarms me.  Are you seeing new growth at the lateral nodes and tips?  If so and if that looks good I wouldn't be too concerned about condition of the older leaves.  It's not uncommon at all for the plants to disregard or cannibalize old leaves when the environment changes abruptly.
haha looking over my previous posts online on a pc is funny look at those shiny leaves lol  Thanks for Hanging in CD

I like it.  It's a good mix.  The Giant Red is a great pod; you can do a lot with it. It's big, hot, tasty.  It likes root space to grow the really heavy pods.

I'm curious what that hyperpube-x will do this generation.  And I hope that orange and brown come through the the same intense colors.

Ok sounds good. Im hoping for a quick germination, but I suspect I won't see anything for prob 10-12 days.

Thanks

Yeah, I think 11-12 days is about typical for me when germinating Rocotos in soil, but there's usually something up by about a week.  I've never found them to be noticeably slower than other peppers.  I'll be curious to see how quickly those come up for you.

Looks like a little dimpling in a couple of the packages from the USPS rollers.  That's the first time I've noticed that with the way I've been shipping recently.  How bad does it look in person?  I'm wondering if having seeds on top of other seeds once it's all folded up was the reason and I should be more careful about that.

You have a keen eye sir! I have added the original picture. I do see dimpled bags but again, I think they are fine. I haven't noticed damage. Cheers

Plants keep looking good, Bookers.  I'm plan to grow culantro this season too, but haven't done it before.  I'll be curious to watch how yours does and pick up a few pointers.  I've heard they like the shade/partial shade, which won't be hard to find in my yard.
I haven't had luck with cilantro or recao for years but I keep trying. It usually dries out too quickly. Also it has to get trimmed correctly for it to continue successful growth.
Right now I think I have 1 pitiful stalk. Im thinking herbs have to be grown maybe a pack of seeds together. A couple seeds here and there it's just not cutting it. Happily there is time for herbs. Dance@

Im thinking this is pointless and a lost cause, but I'll give the Butch T a couple days. Seedling dried out didn't notice. I thought it was a back up... uuhhhg! Let's raise the wounded!

Plants are looking good Bookers!

The Kratkies are really starting to grow, and the OWs look great.

Well done!
