Wow can't believe this!! I don't think this was funny!!!! Just members being mean!! Enough is enough the guy doesn't deserve this WOW. He apologized. Really just fricking mean spirited. The one thing I tell my friends and family is how proud I am to be part of such a great group of kind people. Who work together to help a fellow chili head no matter what. But this was just sad. Brow beating a new member till he wants to leave.
I understand your frustrations with his original comment but this is just ridiculous.

First of all, this guy starts out with a comment about driving like an asshole in hopes of forcing a bicyclist to fall off his bike in traffic. Only when he's called out on it does he give any indication that it was a joke (I still don't really believe that's the case). Then he throws out a bunch of qualified pseudo-apologies like "I'm sorry you were offended" while calling us dickheads, drama starting a-holes and keyboard warriors. When that doesn't work 
, he plays the martyr and complains that we forced him to start drinking again. I hope he was joking about that, because that's f**ked up.
Real apologies are one thing. I can accept that. Or if he had just come out and said he was joking about driving like an asshole and trying to inflict bodily harm on folks with whom he doesn't believe he should have to share the road. Not only did those never happen, he went straight to passive aggressive insults and crying poor me to gain the sympathies of the members who called him out on his comment. I don't have time for people like that.
I wouldn't mind seeing the dude come back here when he drops the passive aggressive BS and maybe stops bragging about driving like an entitled little shit and wishing bodily harm on people. Until then, he can grow some skin and deal with people giving him a hard time for being a douche, or he can take off. I'm fine with either.

Really late night. Celebrating wife's promotion/raise. Steak, baked tater, broccoli from the garden. Hendricks martinis with blue cheese olives. Well as the one who started this by bringing up the fact what he did was fu#$ed I feel terrible. Didn't get any of the horrific things he said. So whatever just bashing members is ok!! And as a marine I'm sure his skin is plenty thick. Just got out of hand is all. I didn't feel like his apologies were fake. We've all have said few and said thing's we didn't mean. But wow. Guy was just grinding GEARS!!

Yeah maybe it got out of hand. You and I just read the situation very differently is all. He seemed very argumentative and condescending from my perspective. Like he was just here to start shit instead of contribute to the community.
I don't see you getting attacked around here. You come off as a good person and your sense of humor and smoked fish pics give me the impression that you want to be a positive asset to this place and make it better.
I'm an asshole now and then (I haven't been able to find my halo in years) and I sometimes say stupid shit. But I don't wish bodily harm on innocent people and then get all butthurt when I get called on it.

Just hope he realizes this and as someone who has had to fight to stay sober it's concerns me to see someone slide backwards especially a fellow veteran. I've battled many thing's in my life but alcoholism was and is still the hardest. Many veterans fall prey to its grasp and I've seen many good men and women destroyed by it. But enough it's all good here my friend and would take a Hell of a lot more to make me think badly of any
members. Especially the crew that I consider my friends

I feel he knew even with the bs I posted that I was trying to convey "this is just a lil' flame war, they happen and we get over them". We have to remember Most members here are extremely passionate about stuff. Why else would we be fiddling with superhots? I'm pretty certain Boss isn't going to delete his account per his request. I think if his skin is Marine tuff, he'll come back. Chalk it up as a bad day, try the next day. Ahh heck, I dun know what I'm trying to say but I'll try and do better next time.

Reminded me of sitting at the dinner table being the youngest of 7 kids and getting nailed for saying something stupid on a daily basis.
I learned to not let it bother me because I still thought I was the funniest little fu#%er at the table.
Freedom of speech is a right many have fought and died for through the years, we all have the right to be as cool or as asinine as we want to be.
The way I figure it, if you don't sign my paycheck, or pay my bills, or at least keep me warm at night, then anything negative said about me is considered a joke and not worth losing sleep over. Can't hurt my pride and my ego don't matter.
Hopefully Bloozer can come to a realization like this.

Stopped by the grocery store on the way home from work. It's a madhouse. Only like 3-4 checkers and each line is like 8+ people deep. Woman in front of me texting on phone as her groceries are being rung, then it's time for her to pay. And she busts out a check book! WTF man!?

Speaking of bad store experiences, I hate it when you're waiting for service from a shop assistant, and they go and serve someone else who got there AFTER you, without even asking who was there first.
