off-topic You know what really grinds my gears?!?

You know what really grinds my gears? Customers who call at 8:00 pm to complain that the Medium salsa has absolutely no heat. His wife is a chef, and she says the salsa has no heat. BlahBlahblah...and then they hang up before allowing me to respond.

Then he calls back a couple minutes later...again notching about the medium has no heat, and I am supposed to listen to customer's opinions, right? You do test the peppers, don't you? (Uh, no...) well, why not? If you don't test the peppers, how do you know how hot they are? My wife is a chef and she says you need to test the peppers to see how hot they are.

And once again he hang up before I can offer a refund.

Frickin' Dumbass!!!!

Well I think your the best Ann! And your products ROCK!! There will always be dill-holes out there who can't be satisfied, even with the best product from the most passionate purveyor. Send the first dill-hole a tub of XXX, bet he won't say shit whilst he's guzzling all the milk in the house.

People that irritate Ann grind my gears, dammit.

Awwww... I love you, Hogleg!!!!!

For the salsa dipsheet, I was going to offer a refund at the store, or exchange for hot, or maybe have a discussion about how their personal tolerances may have increased over the past year since the last time they came over for hunting season, maybe talk about scaling up the recipe, and Thank You for bringing it to my attention that it does not seem as hot....

But the dumbass goes away with nothing.  Oh Well!

Thank goodness for the GMG thread.  Otherwise I'd of been hitting the CallBack button to the DA at 7am.  I wanted to call back at 4am, but slept through that one.

Sheesh, just feeling a little beat up.  Fighting with the electrical inspectors also~

People who pace back and forth setting off the door alarm at work knowing full well it keeps setting it off.

And people who hang out and bullshit after you are closed, preventing you from doing your closing duties.

You know what really grinds my gears?!

I was raised to be kind and polite and culturally diverse.

Is it me or has our society pushed aside such badic fundamentals and taken on a sense of ME ME ME?

Every day I see more and more homeless pushing carts and walking the streets like zombies.

Anyone ever stop and hand them a soda or a bottled water ona hot California 100+ day?

They are humun you know.

They do have a past, presant, and future.

Ever give them the time of day.

Take a brief moment out of your crazy busy day some time and hand them a water.

Even better if you ask them their name and say GOD BLESS.

You know what really grinds my gears?!?

PEOPLE NEED TO CARE JUST A BIT MORE

I guess this can go here...

Explain this:

I fly commercially a lot. Pretty much on a monthly basis, sometimes more. What I want to know, something that grinds my gears, is how certain airlines can get away with price gouging airfares.

Example: Airline X charges $117 roundtrip for my flight. Airline Y charges $754 for the exact same flight. Both airlines maintain a similar fleet and staff, often times with airline X actually have newer, cleaner birds and better staff. Both also maintain mostly full flights.

Airline X has great fares and still turns out a profit. How can airline Y charge 7x as much? Where does this money go? I know it doesn't cost 7x as much to maintain their fleet. Someone has a fat bank account, methinks...

Didn't want to post here, but...

Getting yelled at by a pregnant woman who looks like she could pop any day now for refusing to serve her alcohol. You can yell all you want. Not gunna happen.

Good man Ben. Idiots are one thing, but it really grinds my gears when a lady puts her unborn child at risk. I see that as atempted murder.

Damn skippy! Good thing is the owner supports me in such decisions. I won't be bought off, either way. My morals trump every time.

Hypocrites!

I am a member of several child welfare and human rights groups. I see countless posts by mothers who are commended for standing up for their child's rights against peer pressure. They damn near get standing ovations.

Now we have a case where a mother, who was against an unnecessary cosmetic surgery on her child, that the child could not to consent to, and the mother had researched the dangers of this unnecessary elective surgery (again, child did not consent) thoroughly, yet caves in to peer pressure from her significant other to have an elective, cosmetic surgery done on their child at the wishes of said significant other, despite the mother knowing it was wrong and against her beliefs. That child almost dies from this surgery. Now the mother posts a pity story seeking sympathy for caving in to peer pressure at the expense of her child's well-being.

Excuse me for lack of sympathy for anyone but the child.

Now I am the asshole for standing up for the very thing they do!

Must be because I am a man...
