    Stupid indecisive spring

Thanks everyone. I knew I was rolling the dice when I put them out, I just couldn't help myself. I still have close to a hundred indoors, so even if they buy it it isn't a total loss. I'll bundle them up in some mulch and cross my fingers for the next few nights and see how it goes.

    Stupid indecisive spring

We've been having a really mild spring in my area, so I got a little cocky and put some of my plants in beds...now they're calling for slightly below zero temps over night for the next few days. Just wondering what the consensus is: should I dig em up and move em inside? The beds have hoops...

    Roots not forming... strange

I had some really flakey Fatalii last year. I know alot of people love them, but I had a real hard time getting them to thrive compared to everything else. I wonder if it really is a bad set of genes going around...

    Too Leggy?

Mine looked about like that when I repotted them, so I'd say you're alright if you can find deep enough pots to give their roots room under those stems.

    Too Leggy?

Everything I grew last year looked like that. I buried 'em up to their necks and turned a fan on them, and everything worked out okay.

    Astrotuna's 2012 glog

Hey all, I've been lurking and learning for a couple years, so I figured I'd post my 2012 grow to get some feedback. Living where I do, this hobby has pretty much gotten me through two nasty winters as I eagerly anticipate spring. It's only my second year growing more than grocery-store...

Thanks everyone, I guess I'll just have to wait and taste it to see if it's any good.

    Pepper Identification help

I got bought the seeds from peppergal.com, and everything else is exactly as advertised. It's possible I mislabeled it when I was planting out, but none of my other peppers look like it...

    Pepper Identification help

Howdy from unseasonably sunny Montreal! I've got a handful of fatali, bhut and regular old hab plants, but I have no idea what this thing is: I grew it from seed, and it's supposed to be another fatali, but it looks nothing like anything else I've got growing...any ideas? Thanks,

Found a horn worm this morning!

I have nightmares about those things, and I'm fairly certain I'll never see one where I live. Still...actual nightmares.

seeds Planters Pride seed starting kit.

i'm using the same kit, and a thermostat seems like a really good idea. I'm getting temps close to 90 after leaving it on for 8 hours...

    Now I'm worried...

Thanks! Got started way late in the season this year, so I'm hoping things turn out okay. No problems with bugs this far north though, so there's that, which is nice...

    Now I'm worried...

Thanks folks... Guess I'll just keep an eye on the forecast for now.

    Now I'm worried...

I've been lurking all summer, learning much and saying nothing. This place is awesome from a learning standpoint, thanks a ton everybody! Now I'm afraid. My one productive plant, A Tabasco, has about 80 pods on the go, and I'm probably only a couple of weeks away from dangerously low temps at...
