My Cownhorn plant is loaded with beauties like this. These are the biggest Cowhorns I've ever grown, and the hottest also. The flavor is also great. Any ideas on the best way to preserve them, other than drying?

Squash Bugs are the spawn of satan! We had a bountiful squash harvest this year, until the squash bugs got my plants that is. Another very destructive critter for melon type crops is the Squash Vine Borer. I haven't tried it yet, but I have read on another forum that pyrethrin will kill them...
