    I present to you...

I get a lot of those. I only have plants in my windows and I let them live from year to year, so if I get a short period of sunshine early in the year, some plants will flower and fruit. When the sun then decides to take a few weeks off, I end up with a bunch of the tiniest 7 pods and habs...

    1 Day Germination

I've had a few milder chilies show a root the same day - litterally single digit number of hours after I put them on paper. That's very unusual for me though. Tomatoes are generally the fastest thing I've dealt with. 1-2 days isn't unusual.

    vendor Semillas La Palma

Ordered there for the first time this year. Every kind I put down (wet towel, closed container) has sprouted. It must be 75+% germination rate which is high for me. I don't do heating pads or anything like that. This was my best seed experience yet.

Capsicum rhomboideum. Smaller seeds than even C.lanceolatum!

I would never have guessed that was a pepper. Everything from the leaves and flowers to the seamingly semi-transparent fruit that looks more like a berry.

    Admit it...you have GSH

Yup... My largest plant is a ~5' tall little tree that takes up quite a lot of room in my living room. Chocolate Hab from the super market. Well, It's not like they were actually labeled properly, but they sure look like chocolate habs. Germinated it last spring. 70+ fruits thus far this year...

    Plant size

I'll take your word for that. I've hardly used any fertilizer at all.

    Plant size

You can try to control size by keeping them limited by pot size (or you can keep cutting them back I guess). From my experience the Chinenses like to grow... All my plants are from last year and I have a few that are ~3-4' tall and 6-7' wide even though they're in 4-5.25 gallon pots. They are...

    Help diagnosing my Jalapeños.

Edema? It doesn't look anything like the pictures in this thread: http://thehotpepper.com/topic/30664-issue-with-leaves/page__hl__edema#entry619146

    Help diagnosing my Jalapeños.

Yeah, it's yet another one of those threads... I have two Early Jalapeños standing on a table on the porch. Some of the leaves look like this (clickable thumbnail): and have done so for a long while. I figured it was sunburn (they used to be in direct sunlight and weren't hardened...

pests Have you done your pest check today???

Well, I'm a bit of an insomniac, so I'll be lying around on the coach around 4-6 am when it's already light outside, and randomly look up through the leaves of those plants... Aphids are pretty easy to see through the leaf like that (they show up dark because they block the light going through...

    Habeneros Soooo Slowwww

From what I understand they're sort of the baseline for "hot". "Superhots" are the peppers that are significantly beyond normal habs.
