Anyone else already thinking about overwinters?

wait...so I can cut all of the leaves off of my plant, repot and bring it inside?  I thought I had to have a few leaves on it.  I suffered the wrath of the aphid last year, as well.   oh...and yes...definitely potting the few plants that I am bringing in tomorrow.  The low here is supposed to...

    Fatali sauce

I tasted it today.  I couldn't wait.  It's pretty good.  I think one more batch with a little more mango and a touch more vinegar.  The oil separated a little bit.  I know that oil isn't necessary, but I was kind of hoping for something like balir's smokin' hot pot, with heat.  The heat is not...

Hi All, I have several freezer bags of fatalis, bhuts, and assorted habanero types from last year's harvest.  My significant other has a strict rule on not cooking a bunch of these in the house for sauce because it tends to send everyone into those lovely coughing fits.    What can I do to these...

tutorial The Comprehensive Guide to Over-Wintering

If anyone does decide to get some sundews, the place that I shop is www.cobraplant.com   they always package their plants really well.  Everything that I have received from them is super healthy.  You can tell that these folks love their work by the plants that you get.  And if you are like me...

tutorial The Comprehensive Guide to Over-Wintering

Thanks for sharing this information, PepperGuru.  I over-wintered for the first time this past winter.  I lost 2 of the 4 plants, learned some valuable over-wintering lessons, and have 2 very happy peppers outside.  My fatali and bhut are setting fruit and producing a lot of leaves.   I saw that...

    Hi from Derbyville, Ky

Louisville to be more specific...this place looks pretty neat. I'm still a rookie in my hot pepper gardening (maybe 3 or 4th year growing mildly hot peppers) but I am well on my way to having beds full of heat this summer. I look forward to learning from all of you pros.
