Hey, SR, Here is a link to good charts for using H2O2. I would go to Walmart, if you have them in OZ, and buy their 3%. It's inexpensive and has no additives. Not sure your 6% can say that. Bear in mind, I'm a newb and no expert in the matter, but I've used the concentrations in the charts...

It looks like the Sonoran Mountain Kingsnake, alright. Looked up the two rattlers - both are really beautiful snakes. Too bad you didn't spot any. Been to Chiricahua a couple of times but never with enough time to really explore. Hope to some day, though.

Pretty Scarlet King. If I saw the color combo in my periferal vision, it would definitely startle me for a second. No "red next to yellow" though, and no black head. Safe.

She's a beauty, SR. Widows are in a tie with jumpers as my favorite spiders. Had an L. mactans hanging out on the patio a few days ago and tried to get a clear shot of her. No success but I may go ahead and post her up. She'll be no competition to this beauty though! STH
