Thank you so much for the information! I will see about getting some root inhibitor.
I have an AeroGarden that uses air in the water, but it's spots are currently full with other things. Maybe next year I will see about putting the cuttings in that.
A few weeks ago I decided to take some cuttings from my pepper plants to grow through the winter. I have a short growing season and would LOVE to have plants flowering and ready to go outside next summer.
I have them in water that I pour out and refresh every four or five days. There is some...
I was surprised at how fast my early planted peppers outgrew their 1 gallon root pouch. Here is one of my chocolate habeneros after repotting into a 3 gallon pouch.

Here is one in 1 gallon root pouch. They were in them just over a month.

I have started several seeds recently, and have many little plants. Here is a picture of a chocolate habanero I couldn't resist planting back in December.

Looking forward to warm enough weather to get peppers outside, but it will be awhile.
Have you tried anything else in the aerogro? I recently bought one and set it up at work. I did put a couple of different pepper seeds in it, and they are starting to take off. It's exciting to see the daily changes.
Sorry, it has been a crazy week and I didn't get the tracking number posted. It looks like it is going to be delivered to the next rider today! 9505513023475245055006
Whew! Made it through the seeds! Thank you to everyone that contributed to the train. It is awesome, and I can't wait for next growing season to start! Will be sending the package on my lunch break tomorrow.
He got it out the fastest means he had available to him, provided a tracking number and did all he could to keep the train moving timely. It's not my train, I am just a passenger, but appreciate that he put the effort in.
Yikes! How long before you get to plant anything? I feel bad for groaning because the temperatures have dropped here. At least I have a few cool weather things growing.
I had to laugh. I have a seed train heading my way, but won't be here for several weeks. I just know I will have to plant a few because I won't have the patience to wait until next year. Just one or two seeds... ;)
