Starting to notice more and more peppers ripening with these stiff spikes/bumps/ridges. Seem to be coming from one side of the raised beds in particular. Anybody have a clue as to what is causing this? Thanks, Tom.
Seed sold by a popular vendor here on THP but obviously not yellow. First year with em, does this look like a red version of it to ya'll or something entirely different? Heat seems about on point to what a fatalii registers.
My end goal of this season is to narrow down a few varieties of 'SuperHot' peppers to continue to grow and use in my sauces to raise their heat. I'm growing a bunch in the beds and plan to sample from some of the growers on here throughout the year.
My problem is my heat tolerance at least...
Seems like it is centered directly overhead. Working in a non air-conditioned plant I like the forecast but for the peppers sake I wonder just how much below average it'll be. Already fighting a very tough start with highs just in the 60's and lows in the 40's with too much rain around here...
