breeding Maybe cross pollination can change pods??

Interesting study! All I know is that I seem to get a strangely varied selection of pod shapes on my plants which are grown in close proximity to a number of other pepper varieties. (All three pods from a single white bhut jolokia plant)   I've never had any with a different color or taste, but...

    Peppers Ripening?

I've had various plants with pods that go from green to orange, and then slowly shift to a deeper red after waiting another week or two.

    Plant ID

Interesting, so do all the pods on the plant go through the same phases of color-change?   The reason I suspected sunburn is because I have had the same (or very similar) purple coloration appear on some of my pods in previous years, but only on pods close to the top of the plant with poor...

    Oops! Dropped a green one!

I was able to ripen some green pods at the end of last season just by letting them sit around in my cellar for a week or two. However, those were pods that had been on the plant for about a month.   It probably depends on the variety, but I wouldn't have much hope for a pod that's only a week...

    Curling/Yellowing New Leaves

As long as you didn't do something like rip the plant out of the pot by the stem then the roots are probably fine. If the roots were nice and spread out when you did the transplant then the stuff I mentioned about root-bound plants wouldn't be the issue in this case.   The symptoms look like a...

    Curling/Yellowing New Leaves

I agree, the yellowing leaves could be a sign of a magnesium deficiency.   It seems like you're getting more yellowing on the newer leaves, but the veins still remain green, which may be more of an indicator for an iron deficiency   The misshapen/wrinkled leaves in the second image could also be...

    Finally finished planting out.

Nice setup!   Those orange pails seem familiar...   (My 2014 setup, beginning and end of season)   Interestingly enough I'm also in Mississauga.

Problem with leaves, need help to I.D. problem

That looks pretty much identical to the symptoms I'm seeing on one of my plants that was sitting in soggy soil under CFL lighting for about a month with not much air circulation (except my leaves have quite a bit more of it).   After doing some research, I'm also pretty convinced that it is...
