I cross a chocolate hab with a jalapeno.  The seeds I took grew into 2 small plants, they have fuzzy stems and leaves (still seedlings), is this a good sign it worked?  The mother doesn't currently show these attributes, the (established large) daddy does.  What do you think?

What are the theories behind stingers?  I have a few chocolate habs that have curved stingers, I also have some jalapenos that have stingers.  I suspect it may be the flower tube becoming a new tissue, what are your thoughts?

What do 2 week old jalapeno seedlings look like?  I want to know if my cross worked and the seedlings are about an inch and a half tall, I don't know if that is an already existing characteristic or heterosis.  It is an anuum and chinense cross (if it worked as planned, which it probably didn't.)

How long would it take an average chinense variety to go from seed all the way to fruit?  I've been hearing a range of 4 months all the way to 6.  I understand there's a bunch of variables, but for those who are indoor hobbyists, how long does it take you?
