    Smoked Cayenne powder

    First time with the dehydrator and seemed to work quite well. The racks are very closely spaced and I think it may be an issue when I do Ancho powder. If I get into this on a larger scale an adjustable rack dehydrator may be in my future.

    My first attempt at making smoked cayenne powder. The smell is absolutely fantastic. I see a batch of chili in my near future. 9hrs of cherry smoke then dehydrator overnight.

    The cherry's were labeled only as Red Hot Cherry. The have a great taste bbq and stuffed with Feta. Mild Heat level.

    Hickory smoked Almonds

    I have used my big green egg with the plate setter legs down. Placed a good handfull of soaked hickory chips on the lump. Egg at ~250. Placed the almonds directly on the plate setter and smoked for ~20min. Tasted great
