    Anyone know what's causing this?

It has been rainy lately but the other peppers don't seem to mind just the ones pictured.  I've got 5 1/2" holes drilled into the bottoms covered with weed block fabric to keep the soil from washing out, so the drainage is good.   Just the fruits for the zucchini, how do you use the flowers?  ...

    Anyone know what's causing this?

Have about 15 assorted pepper plants but these 3 are experiencing some sort of issue.  The first 2 are Charleston Hot which seem to always be yellowish when I grow them each year.  The third one is a Carolina Cayenne.                   Any advice is appreciated.   Jamie

seeds Transplanting Seedlings from Seed Starter Tray

I took a plastic cup and cut off the bottom and top rim then removed about an inch section from the side.  The left over flexible plastic piece can be squeezed to adjust to the size needed for seedling cell removal.  Just adjust to size push down into cell, squeeze a little to compact the soil...

    How did this happen?

Bryan, I got the original 3 Thai peppers (which I seeded and started the 40 or so plants from) from a friend who bought it from a Home Depot. He did have other pepper plants growing but I'm not sure what types. Didn't really notice any fuzziness on the larger plant but didn't look at it too...

    How did this happen?

I grew 40 plants from the seeds of 3 Thai chili peppers. One of these plants grew abnormally larger and produced much bigger peppers than its siblings. I thought all the seeds from any given pepper would be genetically identical. Any ideas how this happened (mutation)? The dried out ones are...

    Is this normal?

The seeds toward the end of my peppers seem to be rotting or something, although the outside looks perfect. This is the case with the Yellow Hungarian Wax in the photo as well as my Pepperocini. What causes this and is it normal? Thanks, Jamie

    Too short and bushy???

Unfortunately I cannot plant them in the ground here as I have no available space to do so. I will however continue to experiment with pots as it's all I have. Thank you for your prospective and insight, I'm already seeing an improvement in their growth. Jamie

    Too short and bushy???

Yeah, they do get droopy during the day but it's around 95 degrees out. In the morning the leaves all stretch out horizontally before it gets too hot out. Thanks for all the helpful replies, I've googled lots of pepper plant pictures and didn't see any this stunted looking so I thought they...

    Too short and bushy???

They've been outside for about a month now and are starting to flower (all but the Bhut Jolokia). They were grown under fluorescent lights for about 2 months as well. I kept the light very close as I wanted to winter them over in the garage for next year.

    Too short and bushy???

This is my first attempt at pepper growing but I've been all over the web researching it. I started these from seed in the garage under fluorescent lights they are now outside in 12" pots. They appear to be growing well but are extremely short and bushy. Is this normal or do they have so sort...

    Greetings from Virginia Beach

Hello All, I decided to try and grow some pepper plants this year and it has become somewhat of an obsession for me. I started them from seed in the garage under fluorescent lights but now they're in 12" pots out back. They seem to be growing very well, I wanted them short and bushy to winter...
