I was away this weekend and picked up a bottle of Daves Ghost Pepper Sauce...i was all excited to give it a whirl in a wing sauce. Got the sauce home, took the bag out of the car and the bag split causing the bottle to shatter all over the driveway. I'm mourning the loss of my hot sauce. Never...

I have "picked a pile of peppers" and want to make a ferment mash...i saw previous posts saying to use glass or ceramic with a plastic lid...the question i have is: Can i use a large ziploc container? is that safe?

In the past i started them indoors and transplanted them into large pots that i could keep in a small green house..mostly because of space limitations..however, this year i had the space for a nice sized garden so i hilled them and put them in the ground. I should have better results next year...
