And here is a slice from the flat.... and the reason I say Smokers are better than Sous Vede - Look at the juicyness of the flat:

I'd be impressed if I didn't know how easy it is to edit those machines!  ;)

However, there is no faking that brixket. That is, indeed, full of juicinesseszxt! That think could fill a jacuzzi!  :drooling:

If jacuzzi is a pseudonym for your mouth.  Yes my juicyness can fill your mouth indeed :)

Wow!  I have been wanting to do a brisket since I bought my Egg last year.  You have just given me the motivation I need.  Now to find the time...  Question, did you add any fuel during the cook or at least wood?  Or was that all from the initial set up.  I have never attempted such a long cook on my Egg.  I have the XL if it makes any difference.Congrats on the 300 too.  How did the rest of the tourney go?

It was all just one load of fuel.  One full firebox (to the top rim of the second ring, is usually good for ~24 hours @ 225-250 degrees but thats on teh large egg.  The XL will do 30+ hours with a full load

Also my tournament went good I finished 4th.  I bolwed a 300, 248, 223, 279, 258, 207 averaging 252 over the course of  6 games.

Damn dude, that is pretty impressive.  I used to be a bowler 219 was my best avg.  I bowled a couple regionals, never finished that high.
