Maybe a few others, have not decided yet.

EDIT:

I need to add some Jalapeno, Cayenne, and Bells to round out the list.

EDIT 2:

I purchased the following live plants:

Ecuadoran Hot Lemon and Jamaican Hot Chocolate Habanero (because I never have had success germinating these), Cayenne Golden, and Ristra Cayenne Hybrid (which failed to germinate; 0 for 14).

I also bought two live plant varieties of sauce tomatoes from Burpee (three each of Roma and SuperSauce Hybrid).

I found the King Naga long pod seeds I had saved from last year were growing mold in their plugs, the seeds had turned black.

Unfortunately, I only had saved a couple, so I have seeded new coir plugs with new seeds from Refining Fire Chiles. I got the plants from which I saved the seeds from RFC last year, so hopefully the new seeds will yield the same plants as I had last year.

Anyway, I suppose I should be glad I found the mold only two weeks in, still have plenty of time for a re-start.

Still, feeling a little bummed...

You've got some hot ones growing for sure. Turning up that heat for a nice 2016 season of some fire !!

Definitely.

With so many new crosses available, I had to try some.

Tray maps updated.

74 of 98 plugs have at least one hook, 14 days.

EDIT:

2/22/16

78 of 98 at least one hook, 15 days.

Update 2/25/16:

Tray maps updated.

81 of 98 have hooked, 18 days.

Had to restart Venezuelan Tigers; mold.

Tray maps updated.

I reseeded a few that were showing no signs of germination.

84 of 98 plugs have at least one seedling; 20 days.

Update:

Two more hooks this morning; 86 of 98.

Tray maps updated.

I have at least one plug with at least one seedling of each variety, except the Ristra Cayenne Hybrid I purchased from Seedman.com and the Venezuelan Tiger I purchased from RefiningFireChiles. I have reseeded those, along with a few others that failed to germinate.

The next phase is to pot up in three inch pots, after third set of true leaves appear. A couple are already showing development of second set.

Quick update:

87 of 98 have hooked, the remaining 11 have been reseeded. I still need at least one Venezuelan Tiger and Ristra Cayenne.

Probably nothing to worry about, but I have noticed several seedlings have curled up leaves.

I thought I saw post where someone said that is a sign of overwatering?

Since I have been using the 'weight' method of checking my plugs, and only watering when they are light, I sort of doubt that is the issue.

Anyone see any problem here, or am I correct that everything most likely OK?

P.S. I took this pic right after I watered the tray.

I'm not sure.  But I'd guess it has to do with the grow medium there.  Probably time to put them in pots.

Definitely getting close, probably this weekend I will begin potting up into 3 inch pots.

I suppose it could be the medium, although the other tray with the same coir plugs has no seedlings with curling leaves.

Maybe the water?  Do you use filtered water?
Yes, I use water from the refrigerator, which is fltered by a Samsung DA29-00020B, and I let it sit for a couple of days before I use it.

The Big Jim's were getting too tall for the humidity dome, transplanted into three inch pots, Ocean Forest.

Two of the re-seeded plugs hooked; Brown Large Scorpion Cross and NuMex Las Cruces Cayenne.

Tray maps updated.

Very minor update.

Re-seeded Yellow 7-Pot cross #1 in tray #2 germinated.

So far, 90 of 98 (102 with additions) plugs.

Tray maps updated.

BBM and Bhut Orange Copenhagen that I re-seeded 2/28 emerged today.

Tray map updated.

It looks as if the Venezuelan Tiger and Ristra Cayenne are not going to sprout.

I ordered some Ristra Cayenne live plants, probably will do the same for the Venezuelan Tigers.
