I put some fresh seed to germinate, hopefully they pop up!
You will be able to baby them through winter then boom next year. If all are spiky the resulting plant could be classified under some dangerous weapon law I would think.
Haha, maybe the us army will want to contact me sometime next year, or might show up unexpected at my doorstep.....
I not sure yet, I have limited inside space and that's a big plant!

Ate half of it the other day and it is death, not sure if it's hotter than the rest but it was very bad, I'm not good at telling the difference when it reaches a certain level, so well have to wait... Lol
Update, still waiting on the seeds to pop up in the soil....

Beautiful pod! I'm very happy to see your Trinidad Scorpion mutated to develop such traits; you should rename it something with "Urchin" as someone else has mentioned, and distribute the seeds! I would be happy to have seeds from that if I know they will turn out spiky every single time! All the more menacing for a pepper that hot!!

not trying to be a party pooper, and he can name the pepper anything he wants...but...don't you think there are enough varieties out there that are NOT stable that people have given names?
Every year, I get pods that are off color from what they were supposed to be or odd shaped...
