Breaking Bread

Started baking some bread for both Christmas Eve and Christmas Day dinner. Here are the first couple out of the oven.

Some great flavorful bread/Pizza.
 
 
Blitzes Sesame seeds dried onions caraway and cumin with the Fife berries.
Placed, Serrano, Holy Molly Dill and Garlic on the bottom. Find it greats better flavor.
Swiss Chard topping with Welsh Cheddar.

Yes I used 1/2 cup baking soda to 9 cups water for about 30 seconds

Boule Bread using my cast iron Dutch Oven...the steam created by a high temp under the cover
really made for a great crust & overall nice looking/tasting home made bread...easy.

Made some ciabatta rolls today. Went a step further and put some olive oil on top at the end. Gonna make some sandwiches with these tonight

Some garlic parmesan soft pretzels I make yesterday. Turned out great. Dipped in some melted butter.

Nice ! Been wanting to make some Pretzels/Bagels lately. Good some dough in the fridge I did today so maybe do them in a couple days
