Figured I would set up my own thread rather than photobomb everyone else's. Just finishing setting up a new grow tent, so will post some pics of the plants outside and the new set up over the next few days. Cheers, Bumper.

Cant wait for pics.
Plants look healthy....how long have you been using LEDs and what are your thoughts on em?Bumper said:And now the grow tent, with bhut jolkia and orange habanero. Plants are in 2 gallon pots.

Inside - just a little fella, 1.2 x 1.5 x 0.6 ebay special. I would need a heater for the garage, as we go down to -7 in winter here.Burnzy said:Looks like you actually well ahead of me Bumper! I have a handful of vegie seedlings just as a test in my grow fridge and no chillies yet. Seeds will be planted in May for me.
After seeing yours though I may start them sooner! Is your grow tent inside the house or in a shed garage?
Just realised I didn't respond to the seasonal question. We have a short season, which prompted setting up the grow tent. Which brings me to a question - what to do with about 4 pounds of green cayenne pods that refuse to turn red?Runescape said:Does your season ever end? Or are you able to grow year round?
Also, you can directly add your pics to the thread by using tags, or the Image button in the reply box...
Nice pods btw...

That's why I had to bring the bhut and hab inside, too many chilli projects I wanted to do to wait another full year, it seemed like an eternity!tsurrie said:nice looking seedlings ... the bhut and cayenne pods also.... I can't wait to pick some of my own again ... august seems so far away
Hey Dotmark, nice to see another fellow Canberran on the forum! Couldn't recommend it highly enough. If you get one going now, you can have really established plants ready to grow by November. Ebay has pretty well priced tents, in fact I only bought one led light from the local hydro store, and even that I could have picked up a lot cheaper. If you do go down this path send me a PM and I might be able to assist with good shops to deal with online. Been pretty lucky with set up actually.dotmark said:Nice to see the tent is working out well for you, I'm thinking of grabbing one myself to make it through the Canberra winter.
