Happy new year all!
We made it, it wasn't the end of the world. No Zombie Apocalipse, No Revolution, just a typical year full of Politcal BS.
Well now that I'm not prepping for the end of the world, its back to reality.

I enrolled in into School to get my B.S. in IT Security, so I have a feeling I will have a little less time for updates and such.
Reguardless, I plan on spening a lot of time in the garden this year.
I had a blast last year out in the garden but I became quit the Organic Evanglist >.<

Well This year I plan on putting my money where my mouth is to show those in doubt that organic gardening is easy, cheap, and very effective.
So this year I will be following these rules as a chalenge, and to prove to my self and to others that this 5#!T WORKS!

 1. No STORE BOUGHT NPK based Ferts or Cal
 2. No Pestacide, even Neem or Pyritherin
 3. I'm going to try to keep the budget under 100$ for the entire year
My goal is to show the Results of a 100% Organic Garden.
I will be getting my nutrients the natral way. Compst, Mico, Castings, AACT, Frass, and City water.

I have a tiny yard, so I wont be starting 100+ seedlings like most people, I'll have to go for Quality not Quanity. I wintered most of my plants from last year
so there is no need to get crazy with seeds, however, I do have a few new varieties to change it up. Unfortuneatly I will have to cull out some plants to make room.

So here are the new ones so far.

And the green house

Looking forward to following this all natural grow. Plan on learning a lot. Good luck and right on for the new square footage. That was a great score.

Do you guys ever GEEK OUT when you get excited?
Lol I do >.<
Here is the plans for the second garden.
I'll go take pics soon.

Some new stuff

And some winter "BrainStrains"... They look a little like normal 7's, but I'm thinking its just a young plant pushing out "sPeCiAl" fruit because of the cold.

hummingbird poop? make use of what you have right, i like it. those plants are lookin good, i think they like the "juice"

I noticed that where ever I place the feeder, I find poop all over on the plants under it. Soooo Why not put it over the AACT?
Looking good! Those Wally bags are doing the trick. Can't wait to try them this year!
They actually get to big in those for me, It gets to the point I can only have 4 plants in the greenhouse at one time or I have to prune them back.
Let me see if I can find some Highlights from last year. Just so you can see how they did in the bags.

Ahh! Here we go
They aren't Guru trees but they all had to fit in a tight area.
Here are some shots from 2012.

Do the WalMart bags drain or do you have to do something to let the water out?

They drain so well I was using one to strain out my Compost Tea for the pump sprayer. They are essentially the same as smart pots.

Cleaned up the the new area and started some more seeds, I also am expecting all sorts of seeds to come in the mail (thanks you, to all that pitched in the veggie seeds)

Looks like we will have some cool stuff this year. I am getting very excited!

Hi,

Looking forward to keeping up with the progress of your season. Good luck with you new growing space, it looks like it could be a nice sun trap area.

The humming bird pics are cool. Where we live it's about 100feet away from the ocean and we have seagulls landing on our property - not cool, crap everywhere!

Will be popping back in and have hit the follow button now

Thanks

seeds on its way.. should get them by monday
I'm stoked to try some good So. Cal toms. Your letter is going to be fun to open. Got to love getting seeds in the mail.
Hey C, what are these Wally bags made of? I definitely want to try them.

NONWOVEN POLYPROPYLENE, a form of plastic—a flexible resin polymer.

It looks and feels flimsy, I picked it up in the store and said "naaa," but a week later re-looked it and decided to try it. Glad I did, as the held up well. I don't recommend picking them up by the handles and swinging them around with 30Lbs of wet soil in them, but same goes for SmartPots or GrowBags.

Thanks,
Dude!!! Find a way to get them to poop all in one spot, like on a hard surface so you can scoop it up and throw it in a AACT!
Freaking' White and green, gold right there. They sell "Sea Bird Guano" lol same shit, pun intended.

So I though I was going to loose my B.B. Douglah to the cold of December.
Turns out, It just need a few weeks in the sun.

I got a bunch off teens in solo's, but that was just for my current grow area. Once I found out I was getting a new grow area I started some more. They are lookn' good so far.
