Man, I want to make bonchi so badly. I actually bought a bunch of different varieties this year planning to do some fun stuff with them but turns out we're moving right around the end of summer and can't take any live plants with us. So no point, even though they're relatively quick.
By the way, I counted ten days from seed to seedling in peat pellets in a 75 to 78 degree room (one day on top of the router but the rest just nearby). I'm not doing any super super hots though, I don't think. The house is usually kept around 71 and that room is a bit warmer from the electronics. The LED lights I bought bumped it up another few degrees.
