desserts Habanero Ice Cream

Well i made my ice cream at last. Here is the recipe i used:

Put ice cream maker in freezer for 24 hours.
Puree 3 mangoes with as many orange habaneros as you dare. I used 1 large and 3 small.
Juice 2 lemons.
Mix into 375 mls of custard, 125 mls thickened cream and 1/2 a cup of icing sugar.
Pour into ice cream maker and let it do the rest.
The model i used switches off automatically when it thickens up, but mixture still needs to go in freezer to set better.
I had some after 1 1/2 hours but it probably needs another hour at least.
It could probably do with some more habaneros but this still had a bit of fire. Also a little extra sugar wouldn't go astray.
Thanks all.

Here's another recipe you might want to try.
I made last week n it's very good.

1 Pint Heavy Whipping Cream
1 Pint Light Whipping Cream (or Half n Half)
1 Cup Sugar (i used Pure Cane Raw)
1/2 Tsp. Pure Vanilla Extract
1/8 Tsp. Salt (i used Sea Salt)
2 n 1/2 Tbs. of any granulated Hot pepper (i used Fresh Ground Red Savina)
If you want a lot of heat, use a hotter pepper. Makes about 1 quart.

Then just follow directions on Ice Cream Maker

I go the easy way. I buy some bourbon vanilla ice cream (has nothing to do with whiskey though...) and add some blackthorn liquor and some of the syrup I candied my candied habs with. Quick. Easy. Yummy.
