How dry to grind into powder?

This is my first time dehydrating pods. How can I tell if they're dry enough to grind up into powder?

Squeeze a pod between your thumb and forefinger (wearing gloves!) If it crackles and breaks, it's dry. If it's still pliable, it's not. You should be able to easily turn it into large flakes in your own hand.

Since I'm here in Central FL humidity is a bitch. If they will crackle a bit and only turn to flake/wet mess in my grinder, I throw the batch right back on the dehydrator. Another 16 -24 at 100F and BAM!!!! bone dry powder my friend.
