9 days later, all plants still hanging except the 5 Jalapeno plants, those all hit the smoker! You can see how many pods have actually continued to grow and ripen. All pods are still completely firm and I will begin to harvest the ripe ones any day.
 
Final update for 2012, next up what is going down in 2013! After 3 or more weeks hanging I finally pulled the final harvest and was pleased with the result. Roughly 3 bins full, going to do an end of season mixed smoke powder with the under ripe for sure. Should be interesting!

So what's up for 2013? Any new powders planned?
I think many of the items I have as samples only will make their way to powders. I also have about 50 or more types that I did not grow this year that I have seed for now. 2013 will bring new smoke blends, smoke infused salt blends, few new pure powders and some new mixed blends. That is if all goes well, knock on wood!
