Juanitos 2015 grow

Intro
Besides just fun this year I hope to sell enough to make this hobby pay for itself. If you see something you like I will probably be selling plants or pods at some point in the year, check my website.

I really would like to do hydro dutch buckets in a poly tunnel but don't have enough money/space this year. My dad offered me his small garden plot in the his backyard across town it's about 400+ ft2 so that will be the main grow for 2015 instead of pots like last year(although i'll have a few still).

Updates: links to most notable updates here
germination / into pots
video update seedlings
transplanted outside
drip irrigation test
Some pods showing up

List:
A good variety of heat, flavor, color, and shape that I think will be very pleasing. It's a bit overwhelming to have all these varieties to keep track of and hopefully my wife doesn't kill me. I cut out anums and fruct and wilds so i could better focus my list. Jals and Poblanos are really cheap at the mexican store near me so there is not much point in growing them myself anyway.

For starting the seeds until last freeze they will be under DIY led bars i made. Going for efficiency here.

Fertigation:
Mixrite 1% fertilizer injector
orbit timer
drip line or drip hose(haven't decided yet)

Masterblend 4-18-38 + MGSO + CANO (see comparison)

Your plants look very good growing under LEDs, some of the best I've ever seen under those lights.  Keep up the great work on the pepper plants and to a bumper crop in 2015.  I was expecting to see Christmas presents under your trees with those LED lights.

thanks guys, all is not perfect of course, i overferted calmag and overwatered (it's hard because ajis don't suck up much water, where the reapers / white habs drink it all in a couple hours)
but easy to recover from that, just have to pay more attention lol.

here's one of the early orders ready to go out tomorrow.

with some orders going out i'll have more space, i'm starting some of the rare varieties i got on the train / sasbe and starting some tomatoes

Nice to see you growing again!! I read through your glog a lot last year its nice to see you continuing your grow!

As far as your leds go, do you think it would be possible for somebody that knows nothing about electricity to construct that? I wouldn't want to risk burning down my apartment haha

Soon this year I will get some seeds and start on my journey in my small apartment!

it's about as hard as putting a lego set together with a hot glue gun. You leave everything unplugged while you are working on it. Don't let bare wire touch eachother. basic stuff really, it's not complicated.

I may give this a shot :D now to get a soldering gun and decide on how to set up my grow area!
