Kempires 2013 Grow..."project expansion"

My little grow log:

First off I have very thick skin, so feel free to judge or offer any insults that would help this become a greater success. I am new... But I have been growing all sorts of veggies in my outdoor 20x13 garden for years with lots of good (and bad) results.

This year I plan on changing it up a little. Last year I grew lots of tomatoes, to many. Some purple or grey Heirlooms that tasted like shit, cherrys that I couldn't keep up with and they dropped and rotted, etc. So this year I will dedicate a fair amount of my garden to peppers. As well as my garden, I plan on container growing a bunch, and I am building an indoor grow room with a 600hps.

Today I received my first seed order. They were just a couple varieties I picked from a local supplier, there are no super hots, they will be coming soon, but here is what I planted today:

Chervena Chushka Sweet Pepper
Beaver Dam Hot Pepper
Black Hungarian Hot Pepper
Fish Hot Pepper

I also planted some Golden Greek pepperoncini, but the seed source is questionable, so we will see what happens.

I have them in Jiffy peat things, covered, and a heat mat under them. As soon as I see anything I'll post some pics. I'm now waiting on some more of my seeds to arrive, and I'll update when they get here and hit the dirt.

Nice list, great raised bed and seedlings looking great … great success in 2013 grow and welcome to the "ChiliMon Collective" :D

Couple pics of last years garden. Today I will dig and 2x the size. This year I will plant less toms, and tonnes of peppers. First year growing hot peppers of any kind. This was an early pic, before it turned into a jungle.

Then all summer, we had this table my kids put out front.

Ok

So just got the garden ties hammered in and levelled. So it is 21' x 17' at the biggest. Then tapers off. Should be able to get a couple peppers in there this year. Now to pull the sod, and add the triple mix.

So day 12, and I had 100% germ except for the bonda ma Jaques(0 for 4). This is what they look like on day 12. I have transplanted 1/3 early and will leave the rest in the jiffys just as a little experiment. I could separate some of them, but won't be able to fit them all into my garden, so if anyone want a bunch of plants in a couple weeks, I will meet anywhere within 45 minutes of hamilton.

Little leaf curl, added some water. I find that some pellets dry fast, while others mold..,

And here are my other peppers I planted around 25 days ago. They are just in MG potting soil with perlite mixed in. No nutes added, and now bottom watering as I think I almost lost a bunch from dampening off

All and all, I think things are going good. Does anyone think they are about the right size and healthy looking for there age? I've been trying to compare in other glogs, but most don't date them.

Thanks for checking out my post.

Almost like playing minecraft the way these blocks of clay come out in perfect squares...

For the record, I don't play minecraft....really
