Makin' Bacon!

Today is International Bacon Day! Are you makin' bacon?

Costco had some belly cut into chunks which I did a simple cure on. Pink salt salt brown sugar. Out of 5 day cure I coated one in homemade steak spice, another I coated with double reaper sauce and reaper powder. The rest were left plain.

All were smoked with apple wood.

Feels good to have the freezer stocked with good bacon.

The reaper bacon is pretty fantastical if I do say so myself.
