mmcdermott1 Grow List Log 2011

Well here is my grow list and status. I had a smaller home built greenhouse but I am quickly running out of room so I built a 8' long x 2' deep x 4' high one last night. Used reflective 4x8 sheet in back and bottom/sides/top are some r13 insulation that is suppose to have 98% reflectivity. We shall see. As of now, I have 445 seeds planted and/or purchased and 147 germinated seeds. Other than the 2010 Jalapeno, all seeds with a "0" germination have not been planted yet and/or were just planted in the past few day. My favorite new supplier is Trade Winds Fruit. Their seeds are germinating at an unbelievable rate. My current list is....

No problem McHottie! Just keep me posted on how they do!
If they do as well as everything ELSE is doing, I'm sure they'll do VERY well!

Peppers are growing like mad and getting big you have nothing to be ashamed of there. The garden space is HUGE and looks like your going to have no problem filling it this year. I know you have lots of kids and all these beautiful plants to take care of where do you find the time of day? Mine wants to help but some things are just better done by parents like planting, kids are good for watering and picking peppers. Remember it's not the size of your ship it's the motion of the ocean, peppers look great Mike and nice toms too McHottie. Thanks for the video porn. :shame:

The jealousy here runs deep. Your plants look great. Even got some ripe ones there. And here's hoping you don't have to do anymore plant tipping!

I bet with all that tipping the cows fear you guys. Lima, Ohio may become a pepperhead tourist destination this year.:D
Looking good and thanks for the pics.

Great job! We had serious wind yesterday and it damaged 2 tomatoe plants and cleared some leaves off the pepper plants.
Nothing serious though

Yesterday I went to the local nursery for their 1/2 off sale looking for some flowers to use for my monogram "M" I do in the garden each year. Lucky me, instead of flowers I found some ornamental peppers Chilly Chili. Bought 96 of them  , and 4 Serranos for Mike :) Here is what they look like in the garden. Will be fun watching them fill out and full of color, making the "M".
