New to Smoking

Burnt Ends Pie... light coating of BBQ sauce, fontina cheese, brisket burnt ends... and when done hit it with a vinegar red cabbage slaw (no mayo).

Just a thought, When I got my new smoker, I seasoned it.
I got it as hot as it would go for about an hour to burn the oils, and paint residue from manufacturing.
Let it cool, then spray vegetable oil on all the inner surfaces, and reapeat the high heat process for about an hour.
Good to go.

It might be a redundency...

Just my 2¢

Will be definitely be making that pizza!!

Scovie, the guy already seasoned it prior to picking it up, also to ensure that it has nice seals.

But he did mention to get it hot and lightly coat the trays with done oil again

Bacon??? aaawwwyyyeeeaaahhhh!

I have heard that animal fat is way better for seasoning than veg oil. Especially Cast Iron.
