Much appreciated, buddy. The varieties that are sprouting are doing well.
Some disappointments, so far; ones I would have expected to do well,
like Caribbean Red Habanero from the Chili Pepper Institute at New
Mexico State, and the F5 PDN x Bonda Ma Jacques. May have to resort
to the AeroGarden for some more attempts, if these don't pull through in
another week. The BOC from Refining Fire haven't come through, yet, either.
This has been a year for the books weather-wise, for sure. I think this is the
biggest single snow fall we've had in our neighborhood in 27 years, although
several have come close. We had 6-8" in our yard, more in some places.

Thanks, Eric. We love the covered deck space. The next step is to
enclose it so it is a real room in the winter, and can be opened up
in the rest of the year. We're looking at flexible roll-up type walls and
more permanent framed construction. I'd like to make it a real hip roof
joined to our regular roof rather than just the canopy sitting on the roof.

Hey, Uros! So far, so good. Some varieties aren't popping
for me, but the ones that have look good. It was pretty
amazing to wake up to a snow-covered yard the other morning.
Usually we just get an inch or so at a time.
Looking forward to seeing your grow develop this season, as well, my friend!

Thanks for visiting, Michael, and for the positivity! The canopy is nice, but
as I said above, the space needs some walls to keep the windy and rainy
weather out in the winter. Still exploring options there.

Me, too, Jason! Fortunately it will be all gone when it warms
up and starts raining in a couple of days! Then it will be so soggy
it will be impossible to walk around in the yard until Spring. The
grass gets pretty long by the time it dries out enough to mow!
What is growing looks pretty good; hopefully they will all make
it to plantout time in May/June. Seems like a long way off at
this point!
