Way to go Paul.  Looks like the both of us are gonna have a lot of wilds this year if things go well!
What are your plans for them?  Powders?  Sauce?

Yeah, Ty, thanks to Cane Dog. Should be a fun
season full of wild experiences!

PtMd also passed along some wild SSE seeds
originally from fiogga! Thanks to both!

There’s no expectation on my part, my friend!
I have received so much from members on
the forum, I’m happy to share a little pepper
love in return.

We will swap some seeds, I’m sure!

Well said, Paul.  I feel the same.  I think people should always understand how much value they provide simply by being good contributors to the forum.  Anything beyond that is gravy.

Paul,

I haven't had a chance to catch up with your grow, but I'm officially jealous (in a good way!) now that I've been able to see how your plants are doing. Great job.

I'm looking at your Tepin, and 20 days after hooking up it seems taller than mine at roughly 30 days. Will be interesting to see how they grow.

One question - are you regulating temperature after germination?

Thanks, HM! Been a decent start to the season.
Knock on wood  ;)

That Wild Texas Tepin is a hard charger, growing
faster than most of the other wild varieties.

The T5HO lights keep the temps at 80F with the
grow shelf doors in place, 70F during the day with
them off. In the garage the temp stays in 60s during
day and high 50s at night ( partially heated space.)
I have the lights off from 8 PM to 2 AM.

Have discovered a few aphids on my Rocotos.
Insecticidal soap tomorrow. NEEM two days later.

Yuck - aphids are the reason I went full on hydro after losing a huge Trinidad Scorpion I was growing in soil indoors. Never had that problem since.

Hopefully that's not a setback for you. Now to isolate and hit them hard!

Time will tell, HM. I expect I will find some
more here and there as the weeks roll on.

It has been so unseasonably warm that they
could be coming in the garage from outside,
as well.

Wondering if anyone wants any of the Sri Lanka Red
cross ‘Mr. Sausage’ seeds from the 2019
GrowDown?

Flavor and heat similar to the SLR true pods.

I’ll send you a couple of pods, DP.
They should be in the mail tomorrow.

Got the dried pods yesterday.

Thanks Paul!

Given that came out of PepperGuru's garden, there's no tellin' what it crossed with.  :)
