I guess it is about time I posted some pictures of my 2012 seedlings.

Here's what things looked like in January:

Reimer is a subsidiary of monsanto iirc, so these may be GMO seeds... However Reimer has them - http://www.reimerseeds.com/st-helena-island-hot-peppers-acorn.aspx

in red, and yellow.

Honestly, I don't know very much about the background of the Cleo's Dragon but they are quite tasty! One of the goals for this season is to find a worthy habanero-type pepper to completely replace orange habaneros in my recipes. So far the competitors are:

Cleo's Dragon
Habanero Francisca
Peach Habanero

Whenever plant out time comes, you are going to have your
hands full! Those flats of seedlings look really great.

Plants are looking nice and green. 500 plants.......yikes!
If your looking to stay within the orange/peach color for sauces the "Mulo de Tiro" is a good one. The pods are longer than the typical yucatan orange, and I believe is has a better flavor. How about the "Bahamian Goat ?"

Good luck with the rest of your indoor grow

Hey Dan what is the reasoning behind changing up the Orange Hab? Do you want a different flavor, or just think it is overused? Just curious....

Bahamian Goat has a fantastic taste and a great everyday type heat level I concur on that one (one of my favourite strains)

Yeah, I had Bahamian Goat on my initial list of varieties but for some reason it didn't make it into the trays. I may try to start a couple seeds just for poops and chuckles but it is getting a little late.
