or its malnourished. ( give some light and it might turn green ..)
i have see this coloured cotyledons when they are in the dark.

if you don't have tea bags ..you can use small ziplock bag and use a paper puncher to make a hole in it of course away from the pod. (corner)
or there also these little pouches...made from plastic netting see image below

i usually see these in weddings. where they distribute sweets in them. Best part its reusable..

I made a slit on the other side of the cup(which is not visible in the pic) upto the base. I made a hole at the base of the cup, enough space allowance for the team to grow. I'm doing this to protect my pods from those pesky pepper borers. So far, its working fine for me, not only for peppers but tomatoes too.

The pepper pod is a sweet marconi. :)

Oh those novelty bags. I know where to get those here.. thanks again :D

i hope its special. both are receiving the same amount of sunlight. We'll see if it will revert back to green in a couple of days... :)
 
SL I've had one cot turn yellow like that.....let it get just a hair too dry and it croaked :sad: Maybe it's the "D" word...

purple peru from ajijoe, the foliage is similar to black pearl and the pod is like a small jalapeno that starts from green to black then red when ripe..

sorry to hear about that... but any pod pics? :) the one and only.
i am trying to find out which goronong cili is the real one from malaysia. i got 2 different looking pictures which claims that are goronong.
go look up oily jolokia post in pepper talk. i did ask the borneocili which ones are available there but he has been missing since.!

Thanks.

I already bathe the plant with malathion so no more of those white flies on the ladybug plant

I'm not sure if Aji limon and lemon drop are the same. :)
