So -- FFS '08?

Alas, Lizard's on the Bayou will not be able to make to the big show either. But trying to get on the waiting list, but hear it's a mile long.
Zest Fest may be a possibility though. Have a couple of Shiner's for me!
 
Where is cinco bayou...I have run the gulf coast from Pensacola to Chokoluskee over the years.
 
Not that I know of. Been on 98 all the way to Aligator Point down at Apalachacola and beyond and fished out of Port St. Joe, PC, and Pcola, but never out of Ft Walton...I don't suppose I know anything about Fort Walton except the Vikings and we (Tate High School) didn't play them when I went to school.
 
The G2G takes place on Memorial Day on the AFB here. It's usually a pretty good party. It can be really hot though.

I missed the one last year in Dallas. I was in Luckenbach playing music the whole week. I will not miss the one this year.

Just a thought - depending on how long you all are in town, the wife and I could plan an "off site" get together at our house if anyone was interested. Might even be a topic of ocnversation in Alb.

With the limited time we have away from the booth, I doubt we could take you up on it.

Totally understand, like I said, just a thought. I would guess we have a couple of gigs that weekend. May be at the White Elephant in the Stockyards over in Fort Worth.
 
does the fiery food shows ever get close to MN ? I think it'd be fun going to one of them & stock up on a bunch of hot sauces from the show :lol:

do they have a website with info about the shows ?
 
ohio is not that close, I suppose they hold the shows always in the same couple states every couple years. do they have more than 1 show per year ?

Sample bottles ordered - check

Bag o' Serrano peppers - check... threw them in a bag with a banana to ripen

Jalapeños - check

Habs - check

All set to brew up some sauce to hand out to just about anyone who wants, even though I won't be having a booth.

HUGE thanks to Lee (from the Danny Cash Crew) for pointing me in the right direction for bulk sample bottles.

Now....off to design a mini label with the old graphics. New ones aren't ready yet.
 
I just found out I have to work that weekend so I won't be making the pilgrimage...typical...
 
I believe I'm seeing planetary alignment...
My boss is out of town on Sabbatical
It happens the weekend before spring break, so it won't interfere with teaching
Flight and hotel isn't real expensive
There is a casino, so I can probably cover most if not all costs with gambling winnings

I might actually be able to make it. And I need a vacation the way this year has started. I'll keep you posted.
