Hahahaha ... Boss didn't even say it would be burgers yet, LOL ...

Burgers are an awesome TD, though ...

Burgers and pizza are probably my favorite TD's ...

June 2-5 is The Dual Burger Duel!

What????

Grant has suggested in the past we do a burger head-to-head where you get to pick your competitor, so we are going with that idea this time!

But what does dual duel mean?

Duel: Head-to-head. PM me your matchup, you can PM or post to find your competitor, even challenging members in this thread.
Dual: You both agree to one protein for the patties. That's all you know about each other's creations, and each may either present a double burger of that protein, or two single burgers of that protein dressed differently (or the same if you wish). For example, you choose beef. You can do a double beef burger, or two single beef burgers, both exactly the same, or one with bacon and swiss, and one with chili and cheddar. Get it?

We will allow multiple protein matchups so if you choose beef it is still open for other Duels. This could be YUGE!!!!!!!!!!!!! There will NOT be an Anything Goes only Duels. Yes, then a Best Burger poll of winners.

PM me your matchups with protein. Matchups must be reserved before the next TD starts. Crowns to each winner.

  • Please choose the specific protein, as in beef, bison, chicken, turkey, etc.
  • If doing seafood please specify if fish or shellfish. Please specify the shellfish and if fish, you each can choose your own but if you do 2 burgers they need to be the same fish each, the difference in the dressing, like with meat.
  • Pertaining to above any mixed proteins must be agreed upon by both parties and the chosen protein must be at least 50% of the blend. The second etc. can be mystery.
  • If doing veggie that means it can be vegan or vegetarian with eggs and cheese allowed (no need to specify actual veg proteins). Since you don't have to specify proteins, technically, you could do 2 different patties if you wish.
Patties should only be made of your chosen protein and not mixed with other major proteins except spices and fillers (fillers being things like binders or cheese).

1 DUEL PER MEMBER!
