What's your destination of 2009??

Hey AJ

Aren't you about to take the 20yr holiday? I remember reading posts back in Jan saying 6 months left...

Also, my "summer" holiday (my winter actually) is to Canada! And the weather here is LIKE my winter too!

Enjoy your holidays everyone, wherever you go

RS

yup RS...28 working days left...

next year in May, I plan on visiting my cousin in Florida just south of Cape Canaveral and fish for dolphin and sailfish

Dunno if it would be considered a vacation, but I have a log home in the woods near Bradford, PA. I "vacation" there a few times a year. There's also hunting season. Time to fill my freezer with venison again.:)

DO! NOT! WANT!

I've been to Germany 3x this year already for work - Eppelheim once and Hamburg twice. Chicago for a few days with the family although it was also for work.

For vacation? I just want a week of peace and quiet at home so I can spend some quality time with the family, but I doubt I will get it. My daughter is 10 months old and she's a lot of fun right now, but my work is just too hectic.

Goin king salmon fishing last week of august on lake ontario, oswego, NY. hopefully we'll catch some monsters and i can get a wall-hanger :D

That's pretty close... Let's see what we can do with this information...

 The trick is to travel the right time. Sarasota is a tourist town so you need to book 24 hours in advance some time between Monday and Friday. They try to fill up their capacities to be "booked up" and give you the cheapest rates you wouldn't get during the weekend. To administration and business cities like Atlanta you have to travel during the weekend when no traveling salesmen are around. That trick doesn't work in cities with both tourist and business appeal like New York or Miami. We always carry a laptop and my wife is a specialist for 24-hours-in-advance-special-rate-online-booking. We plan our complete trips around that trick.

Sell it to the Jahovah Witlesses and tell them he wants to receive all of their pamphlets hand delivered every weekend for the next year.

 You only have to tell them that some of your friends are gay and they will never show up again!

Thats pretty good, Armadillo. I didn't know the truth would scare them that well. I'll have to try it sometime. What i usually do is this. The first time they show up and say that they're witnesses and want you to become one just tell them you didn't see the accident and slam the door on 'em.

Cordova in August and September for salmon fishing and bear hunting. Then I really want to go somewhere for some ducks and geese(my real passion!). Maybe Cold Bay, or Nome? I went out to St. Paul Island last winter and bagged a King Eider outta my kayak.

Ducks! There's some world class duck hunting over by the mouth of the Kvichak. Same with alot of the Bristol Bay rivers. Other notable's are the Togiak and Kulukak just north of Dillingham. Sadly I won't be duckin' this year. Shoot me some teal and gadwall please!

Salute', TB.

I already had my vacation....went to Disney with the family in April....my wife is going on a "Girls Only" Caribbean Cruise in Novemember.

I think Italy in August (our anniversary) then wait until winter and have a nice loooong skiing holiday here in the lovely Switzerland. The skiing here in the Alps is really awesome.
Oh and my wife is going home to SA in September, damm lucky thing.
